Training Insights shows how consistently you follow your training plan. At a glance, you can see how many workouts you completed, how many you missed, and which extra sessions you did that weren't planned, plus how your sessions are split across sports.
This guide walks you through finding your completed and missed workouts in Training Insights.
Check Your Completed and Missed Workouts
Step 1: Open Training Insights
Go to Calendar and click Training insights in the left sidebar, under Calendar and Races & records.
Step 2: Read the Commitment Over Time Chart
The Commitment over time chart shows one bar per period, split into three parts:
Completed: planned workouts you did.
Missed: planned workouts you didn't do.
Unplanned: activities you recorded that weren't on your plan.
Hover over a bar to see the exact number of completed, missed, and unplanned workouts for that period.
Sessions per Sport
The Sessions per sport chart shows how your sessions split across running, cycling, swimming, strength, and other sports for the period you chose. Use it to check that your training mix matches your goal, for example a balanced split in a triathlon build.
Tips for Athletes
Look for patterns in missed workouts. If the same day of the week keeps showing up as missed, ask your coach to move that session to a day that suits you better.
Reschedule instead of missing. Moving a workout to another day counts as completed when you do it. See How Athletes Can Change or Reschedule a Workout.
Unplanned isn't bad. An easy ride with friends or a club run shows up as unplanned. Let your coach know about regular extras so they can build them into your plan.
For Coaches
Training Insights works the same for every athlete you coach. Open it for an athlete to see their completed, missed, and unplanned workouts, and use the trend to talk about consistency before adjusting their load. For how training load builds over time, see How to Read the Performance and Training Load Balance Graphs.
