If you need to reschedule a workout, you can move it to another date directly from your calendar. The workout itself doesn't change: its steps, planned duration, and training stress stay exactly as your coach built them, and your coach sees the new date straight away.
This guide walks you through the two ways to move a workout on desktop and how to do it on your phone.
Reschedule on Desktop
Option 1: Drag and Drop
Go to your Calendar and find the workout you want to move. Click and hold the workout card, drag it to the new date, and release.
Option 2: Change the Date on the Workout
Step 1: Open the Workout
Go to your Calendar and click the workout you want to change.
Step 2: Click the Date Field
At the top of the workout details, click the Date field.
Step 3: Pick the New Date and Save
Choose the date you want from the calendar picker, then click "Move workout" to confirm. The workout moves to the new date.
Reschedule on Your Phone
The steps are the same as Option 2 above. In the EndoGusto app, open Calendar, tap the workout, tap the Date field at the top, pick the new date, and tap "Move workout".
If you haven't installed the app yet, see How to Install the EndoGusto App on Your Phone and Desktop.
What Happens After You Move a Workout
The workout structure stays the same. Every step, zone target, and note is unchanged.
Planned duration and training stress stay the same, so your weekly totals simply shift with the workout.
Your coach sees the updated date on their calendar. If the workout was pushed to your watch, it's re-sent for the new date.
If the new date already has a workout, the moved one is added alongside it. Drag the cards to set the order; see How to Reorder Workouts on a Calendar Day.
Tips for Athletes
Move rather than skip. If a session doesn't fit today, shift it to a day it does. Your coach can see the whole week and will adjust if the new spot doesn't work.
Tell your coach why when it matters. A quick comment on the workout, or marking the original day as unavailable, gives your coach the context. See How to Mark a Day as Unavailable.
Watch the order on busy days. Moving a run onto a day that already has a strength session puts both on the calendar; check they're in the sequence you'll actually do them in.
Keep sessions inside the same week where you can. Shifting a key session into next week changes your training load balance; if you're unsure, ask your coach first.
For Coaches
Athletes can move planned workouts to another date but can't change the workout itself. When they move one, the new date shows on your calendar immediately, and you can move it back or restructure the week from your side. If you'd rather athletes didn't reschedule on their own, agree that with them directly; there's no setting to lock dates.
