There are two ways to add athletes to EndoGusto: enter their name and email yourself, or share your public sign-up page and confirm each request as it comes in. Either way, the athlete gets an email to set their password, and you can start scheduling their training as soon as they're on your list. This guide walks you through both ways to add an athlete.
Add an Athlete by Email
Step 1: Open the Add Athletes Dialog
Go to your Home dashboard and click "Add athletes" in the Athletes card. You can also open the same dialog from the Athletes page.
Step 2: Enter the Athlete's Name and Email
In the "Add athlete" dialog, type the Athlete's full name and Athlete's email, then click "Add athlete".
The dialog confirms Athlete added. EndoGusto emails the athlete a link to set their own password, and the athlete appears in your Athletes list right away, so you can start planning before they log in. From here, click "Go to your athlete's calendar" to start scheduling, or "Add another athlete" to keep going. If you have a long list to add at once, click "I have multiple athletes" and our team will import them for you.
Let Athletes Sign Up From Your Public Page
Step 3: Share Your Sign-Up Address
Every business has its own public sign-up page at yourbusiness.endogusto.com. You'll find the address on your Home dashboard under "Your public page address", and in the "Add athlete" dialog. Click "Copy" and share the link in a message, on your website, or in your social media bio.
On your page, the athlete sees a "Get trained by [your name]" form with three fields: Your email, Your full name, and an optional Introduction where they can tell you about their goals or upcoming races. They click "Complete signup" and see a Sent confirmation explaining that they'll be ready to go once you confirm their request.
Step 4: Confirm Incoming Sign-Ups
When an athlete registers through your public page, a "1 new sign-up!" badge appears in the Athletes card on your Home dashboard. Click "Review and approve".
The "New sign-up" dialog shows the athlete's name, email, and when they signed up, along with any introduction they wrote. Click "Confirm sign-up" to accept them, or "Reject" if you don't recognize the request. Until you confirm, the athlete has no account and can't log in.
What Happens After You Add an Athlete
Whether you added the athlete by email or confirmed their sign-up, EndoGusto sends them a "Set password" email. They set a password, fill in a short profile (sports and available training days), and connect their activity tracker. The full athlete-side walkthrough is in Onboarding as an Athlete on EndoGusto.
Meanwhile, the athlete is already on your Athletes list and has a calendar, so you can schedule their first week before they've even logged in. Open their Training Zones section to set thresholds before you assign zone-based sessions.
Tips for Coaches
Use email for athletes you already work with. Adding by email skips the confirmation step and puts the athlete on your list immediately. Save the public sign-up page for new athletes who find you.
Put your sign-up link where new athletes look. Your public page address never changes, so add it to your website, email signature, and social profiles once and forget about it.
Read the introduction before you confirm. The optional introduction on your sign-up form is where athletes mention goals and races. It's a useful head start for planning their first block.
Check the tracker connection before the first session. An athlete with no tracker connected shows planned workouts but never gets completed activities. Glance at their Activity trackers page after they've set up.
Send the athlete guide with your welcome message. Point new athletes to the Onboarding as an Athlete article and the app install article so their first login goes smoothly.
