Onboarding as an Athlete on EndoGusto

Set up your EndoGusto athlete account in four steps: set your password from the invitation email, complete your profile, and connect your activity tracker.

Written by EndoGusto Support

Your coach has added you to EndoGusto, and setting up your athlete account takes a few minutes. You set a password from the invitation email, fill in a short profile so your coach can plan around your sports and available days, and connect your watch or tracking app so every workout you complete lands on your calendar automatically. This guide walks you through onboarding as an athlete, from the invitation email to your first synced activity.

Set Up Your Athlete Account

Step 1: Open the Invitation Email

Look for an email from EndoGusto saying you've been added as an athlete to your coach's business. Click "Set password".

If you signed up through your coach's public page instead, this email arrives as soon as your coach confirms your request.

Step 2: Set Your Password

On the Set your password page, enter a password of at least 8 characters and click "Save and login". EndoGusto logs you in straight away; there's no separate login step.

Step 3: Create Your Profile

You land on a welcome page with your coach's name at the top. Fill in the three sections:

  • Create your profile: your full name, date of birth, and preferred units (Imperial system or Metric system).

  • Training: the sports you take part in (Running, Cycling, Swimming, Triathlon).

  • Training days: the days of the week you're generally available to train.

Click "Save profile". Your coach sees these details and uses them to plan your first weeks.

Step 4: Connect Your Activity Tracker

The Activity trackers page opens next. Choose your device or app (Garmin, Strava, Polar, Suunto, COROS, Wahoo, or ROUVY) and click its connect button. You'll be taken to the tracker's own login page to approve the connection, then back to EndoGusto.

What Happens After You Connect

Your training calendar is ready. Workouts your coach assigns appear on your calendar, and if you connected a watch, structured workouts can be sent to it as well. Every activity you record syncs to EndoGusto automatically and is matched to the planned workout for that day, so your coach sees what you did without you uploading anything.

Tips for Athletes

  • Install EndoGusto on your phone. Add the app to your home screen so today's workout is one tap away. See the app install article for the steps.

  • Sync your watch after every session. Your activity only reaches EndoGusto once your watch has synced with its own app (Garmin Connect, Polar Flow, and so on).

  • Keep your training days current. If your schedule changes, update your available days in your profile. Your coach plans around them.

  • Connected both a watch and Strava? EndoGusto keeps the watch version of each activity and ignores the Strava copy, so you won't see duplicates.

For Coaches

Your athlete appears on your Athletes list the moment you add or confirm them, so you can schedule their first week before they finish setting up. Once they've connected a tracker, their completed activities show on their calendar and in your dashboard's activity feed. To add athletes, see How to Add Athletes to EndoGusto.
