How to Connect Your Polar Watch with EndoGusto

Connect your Polar watch to EndoGusto so every activity you record syncs automatically to your training calendar. See what syncs and what to expect.

Written by EndoGusto Support

Connecting your Polar watch to EndoGusto sends every activity you record, through Polar Flow, straight to your training calendar, where it is matched to the workout your coach planned. Polar is a one-way connection: activities come in, planned workouts are not sent to the watch.

This guide walks you through connecting your Polar account and what to expect afterward.

Connect Your Polar Account

Step 1: Open Activity trackers

Log in to EndoGusto and click Activity trackers in the left sidebar. Find the Polar card and click "Connect your Polar".

Step 2: Log in to Polar Flow and accept

You will be redirected to Polar Flow. Log in with your Polar account and accept the request to share your training data with EndoGusto.

Step 3: Confirm the connection

You return to EndoGusto and the Polar card shows that your account is connected. You can disconnect from the same card at any time.

What Happens After Connecting Polar

Only new activities sync. Polar does not make past activities available to connected apps. Activities recorded and synced to Polar Flow after you connect will appear in EndoGusto; anything before that will not. If you want your history in EndoGusto, upload the .fit files manually or, if you also use Strava, connect Strava for the backfill.

New activities sync automatically. Each time your watch syncs with Polar Flow, the activity is sent to EndoGusto and matched to the planned workout for that day.

Planned workouts stay in EndoGusto. Polar cannot receive structured workouts from EndoGusto, so your coach's planned sessions are not pushed to the watch. Check your EndoGusto calendar (or the mobile app) for the day's session before you head out.

Polar plus Strava. If you connect both, EndoGusto keeps the Polar version of each activity and ignores the Strava copy, so there are no duplicates.

Tips for Athletes

  • Connect before your first planned session. Because Polar has no backfill, anything you record before connecting will be missing from EndoGusto.

  • Sync the watch, then check EndoGusto. An activity reaches EndoGusto only after Polar Flow has received it from the watch.

  • Follow workouts from the EndoGusto app. Since the watch cannot show your structured session, open the workout in the app to see the intervals and targets, and record on the watch as usual.

For Coaches

Athletes connect Polar themselves. Their activities arrive automatically once connected, but planned workouts are not sent to Polar devices; athletes on Polar follow the session from the EndoGusto app or from your workout notes.
